"An actor must interpret life, and in order to do so must be willing to accept all the experiences life has to offer. In fact, he must seek out more of life than life puts at his feet."

"You don’t want to work without being paid, but it’s better than not working at all."

Is your last chance to enter a play into the SLAM competition in May. We’re taking the summer off so your next chance isn’t until September… dont wait! Bring whatever you’re working on, wherever it is in the process, and see actors cold-read your work on stage AND get feedback from judges!
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain—if you make it to the finals next week you could win an evening in the Tank’s theatre space to produce your play, plus some cash to pay your actors. All the profit from SLAM in May goes towards co-producing the winning play (co producers being you+the Tank).
Don’t delay, bring your play! More info on how SLAM works is on our tumblr homepage…along with an email-list sign up.
And if you’re not a playwright, just come along and you can act or just watch the action.
See you tonight!
xoxo
